The attached USB port allowed me to connect my trusty old Orbit AF which I planned to use. Unfortunately, libwebcam did not build at first. Some hacks later it segfaulted when accessing the controls.

To cut a long story short, here is the diff file: sheevaplug_libwebcam.zip. Thanks to AceJohnny over at the quickcamteam.net forum. And ofcourse everybody @ Arch Linux ARM

You still need to download the complete kernel sources for uvcvideo.h!
